Screen diva, Toke Makinwa and popular comedian, Bovi have been unveiled as hosts for this year’s edition of Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music awards, The Headies.Themed “Feel the Passion…”, the 9th season of The Headies will hold on the 25th of October, 2014 and will feature some of the biggest performances and side attractions ever witnessed on the Headies stage.Toke Makinwa and Bovi will join past hosts, Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, eLDee, Rita Dominic, MI, Omawumi among other A-list celebrities who have graced the Headies stage as hosts.CEO of Smooth Promotions, Mr Ayo Animashaun said: _“Our decision on this year’s selection of hosts for the Headies is undeniably a well deserved selection as Bovi and Toke Makinwa have both made a huge impact in the industry with their outstanding skills and talent.
