Omawumi has confirmed the story of her secret marriage a few days back in Warri, Delta state. Omawumi confirmation came when she replied comedian Ali Baba’s jokes at her at an event in Warri.

Ali Baba jokingly asked her to cover her laps which was exposed due to the kind of skirt she was wearing, Omawumi quickly replied, “bros leave am o, na market be that”, “Which kind market?” Continues Ali Baba. Your market wey dem don buy naim you dey talk abi na another one? The female singer Concorde and confirmed, “yes, I’m taken” (brandishing her silver coloured, wedding ring to the public).

There are also rumours that she might be pregnant for their second child. Omawumi had her first baby, Kamillah in June 2011 with her boyfriend, Tosin Yussuf.

She eventually married her baby daddy, Tosin Yussuf, in a private ceremony on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
