List of winners at The Future Awards Africa 2014
The
highly anticipated youth event, The Future Awards Africa 2014 has
finally come and gone. The annual awards event took place on Sunday,
December 7, 2014 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Hosted
by rap star, Ice Prince and Ugandan channel O VJ, Flavia Tumisiime, 10
amazing young personalities were honoured in different categories which
includes Agriculture, Advocacy, Business, Community Action, Education,
Public Service, Technology, Young Person of The Year, Entertainment and
Enterprise support.
The
future Awards Prize in Public Service was dedicated to the late Dr.
Stella Adadevoh who died from the Ebola virus in August and the award
category was also rechristened The Stella Adadevoh Prize in Public
Service in recognition for her heroic act in curbing the deadly virus in
Nigeria.
The
event was also graced by prominent personalities including the
President, Goodluck Jonathan who was represented by Honourable Minister
for Youth and Development, Boni Haruna; Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Dr, Oby
Ezekwesili, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Banky W, Funke Akindele, Seyi Shay,
OC Ukeje, Mochedah, Freeze, Ade Bakare, Timi Dakolo, Denrele Edun and a
host of others also graced the event.
