Singer John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen feed protesters in New York City
The
famous couple paid for New York's Kimchi Taco truck and Milk mac &
cheese truck to feed people at the city's Lincoln Square on Sunday where demonstrators laid down for free.
Grammy
winner, John Legend and model wife,Chrissy Teigen are supporting the
current black protest movement in USA by trying to feed those who are
fighting for change and racial equality in America!
The
famous couple paid for New York's Kimchi Taco truck and Milk mac &
cheese truck to feed people at the city's Lincoln Square on Sunday where demonstrators laid down for free, reports DailyMail.
Revealing their grand gesture on Twitter, the Sports Illustrated model wrote in response to a thank you from @kimchitruck:
'@KimchiTruck @johnlegend wish we could be there!! thank you for being a part of it!'
The
couple hasn't said much about their generosity since, but sources say
both donated the food along with online activist group
#OperationHelpOrHush.
Legend
has however commented on the controversy surrounding 18-year-old
Michael Brown's shootingbefore and has written a song along with rapper
Common for the upcoming film that takes place during the Civil Rightsmovement in Alabama titled “Selma”
