Nigerian Censors Board Bans ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ From Cinemas
The much anticipated movie, ‘Fifty Shades of Grey‘
which premiered on Valentine’s Day and kept tongues wagging has been
banned by the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).
‘Fifty Shades of Grey‘
which showed in most major cinemas in Nigeria in it’s first week of
release, has been removed from list of movies showing in Nigerian
cinemas by the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).
The Movie is a screen adaptation of E.L. James’s erotic book of same name.
It revolves around a literature student, Anastasia Steele, who meets a handsome but tormented billionaire named Christian Grey, whose sexual desires are channelled to dominance (BDSM).
‘Fifty Shades of Grey‘ was also banned in Kenya.
