Maverick was interviewed  and he spoke about  his music,  the music industry, his achievements and what we should look out for from him. Read his interview below:


TELL US ABOUT YOU, YOUR BACKGROUND AND WHERE YOU FROM.
 Am maverick , full name wakama Ene (jnr). i’m an artist and a producer signed to IFOE Records. i’m from Rivers State but was born and bred in Surulere Lagos. I started producing at the age of 16 and started music professionally at the age of 20.

ASIDE MUSIC, WHAT ELSE DO YOU DO.
 I’m the CEO of IFOE online. We create website and profer IT solutions for companies.

WHAT KIND OF SONG DO YOU DO.
 Afro pop, Afro Hip-Hop and EDM (Electronic Dance) as a producer.
DESCRIBE A REAL LIFE SITUATION THAT INSPIRED YOU.

When i found out that Kanye West was both an artist and a producer during my secondary school days. That inspired me me to pursue my career as an Artist and a producer.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE AND DISLIKE IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY.
I dislike negative energy generally and the fact that some times money could be put before the talent in our business.

NAME THE THREE ARTIST YOU WOULD LOVE TO BE COMPARED TO.
Normally i wouldn’t love to be compared to any one because all Artists have their uniqueness but the Wizkid, Davido, and Drake would be a good shot.

HOW MANY SONGS HAVE YOU RELEASED SINCE YOU STARTED MUSIC, WHO AND WHO HAVE YOU WORKED WITH OR WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH.
Officially 3 songs and my mixtape is dropping soon, titled “Success Of A College kid”. promise to be fire.
I’v worked with CDQ Durella and Ozone.

Would love to work with Wizkid, Olamide as well as Ycee.
